"Bloom Where You are Planted" by Pastor Robert Wall

“BLOOM WHERE YOU ARE PLANTED”

In the late 80’s early 90’s I worked for The City Of Marshall, Texas. I was employed in the Water Utilities Dept. It was a good job, with lots of good folks working there. A lot of whom have gone on to be with The Lord today. During the four years that I worked there, occasionally we would have to go out to The Sewer Treatment Plant to do some type of repair or maintenance. It was a pretty neat operation.

2020 Prophecies by Steve Long

Posted on February 5, 2020 at 12:10 AM Comments comments (30)

The Lord was so gracious (as always) to give us several prophecies about the new year. When those prophecies came, we rejoiced and said, “Amen”! But, do we still remember those prophecies now? If not, we need to review them and again let them renew our minds. The following prophecies were given, some at the end of 2019, and others right at the first of 2020. Some were given by Pastor Ray Wilson and others were given by Jeanie Fentress and other anointed leaders.

Satan's plan for Saints by Pastor Ray Wilson

Posted on January 23, 2020 at 8:00 AM Comments comments (60)

In Daniel 7:25 the Bible says that in the last days Satan has a plan for the Saints----to wear us out. That phrase to wear out means not only to wear out but it also means to harass. Satan in these last days is attacking Saints like never before to harass us and try and wear us out. And many of God's people are already getting weary in well doing.

How do we stop the onslaught of Satan and begin to push back and gain the victory? Well, we will never be able to completely stop the attacks...

Celebrating Dr. King by Pastor Robert Wall

Today I remember Dr. Martin Luther King Jr....From the history I’ve seen over the years and speeches he made, I believe what made him such a great man, pioneer for racial equality, and charismatic speaker was the fact that he knew the Lord. Most of his speeches were directly out of the Bible.

We, as a people, can and must continue his message that ALL MANKIND are, were, created equal. It is a great tragedy for someone to believe one is superior over the othe...

Christian Foundation Classes

Session One

“If the foundations are destroyed, What can the righteous do?” - Psalm 11:3

The enemy always works at destroying the righteous foundations of The Lord God. He always work at keeping us unaware of the “Pillars” of Truth, that God has established.

What can we do, if we don’t follow the path and pattern that The Lord our God has provided for us to follow? First ...

Happy New Year by Steve Long

Posted on January 13, 2020 at 3:15 PM Comments comments (40)

What great opportunities await us for this New Year.....and if we will walk in a higher degree of wisdom this year than we did last year, the results will be greater and better. Last Sunday Pastor Ray shared with us some advice the Lord had put on his heart for us to follow this year. Here is a brief summary of what he shared:

1. Perfection is not your #1 goal. Perfectionism robs us of seeing the good in others. Is 70% of everything about the person you are thinking about good? T...

Forgiveness in the New Year

Posted on January 9, 2020 at 4:30 PM Comments comments (43)

You know one of the great ways to let our light shine as Christians in this new year is to forgive other people. But it’s hard to forgive others if you don’t, number 1, believe that God has forgiven you of all your sins.

The Bible says in John 1: 29 that Jesus is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. In Matthew 26: 28 Jesus referred to his blood as being the blood of the covenant which is poured out for man...

Living in the Moment---Part 3

Posted on July 13, 2018 at 9:00 AM Comments comments (35)

It's imortant for us as believers to live in the moment. Living in the moment requires us to stop being focused on the past or fixated on the future, and to ask “what is God doing now?” It also requires us to look at the physical circumstances we find ourselves in today, and ask God

1) What are you saying to me in these circumstances?

2) How do you want me to respond to these circumstances?

3) How do I extend your kingdom in these circumstances?

Living in the Moment---Part 2

Posted on July 12, 2018 at 9:00 AM Comments comments (39)

Jesus was a person who lived in the moment. In John 5: 19 Jesus said, “I only do what I see the Father doing.” He was a person who lived in the moment, and as we said last time the call of God is on us to be people who live in the moment as well. But how do we do that. How do we make the shift from being focused on the past or fixated on the future, to living in the moment?

The first thing we need to do is ask ourselves “what is God doing today?” ...

Living in the Moment

The devil is always trying to get us to be focused on the past or fixated on the future….and neither is right for the person of faith. Isaiah 43:18 says “forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.” Matthew 6:34 says “do not worry about tomorrow.” So, clearly it is not the will of God, nor is it of faith, for God’s people to be focused on the past or fixated on the future.

Being focused on the past will many times lead to shame...
