When a King and a Prophet Agreed Together in Prayer, part two
A few years after Israel, the northern kingdom, was conquered, the Assyrian army came across the border into Judah and captured some of her fortified cities. Their next step was to conquer the capitol, Jerusalem (Isaiah 36:1-3). Hezekiah found out that King Sennacherib was sending his representative with a large army to confront him and the people of Jerusalem. So he encouraged the people to be strong and ...

When a King and a Prophet Agreed Together in Prayer, part one
There have been several Globalist movements throughout the history of mankind. These were movements which sought to destroy the national identity and sovereignty of all other nations and to establish a one world government with one required culture and no freedom of religion. Such threats to nations usually have resulted in war. If the free nation won, it kept its freedom. If it lost, it and its people wen...

DAY 25: THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD,
part two
Note: I am happy to hear that several of you have benefitted from the last two devotionals on victory and the whole armor of God. In today’s devotional we will again reflect on the whole armor of God. Remember, it is always God’s will for us to be victorious in Christ: “Thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ” (II Corinthians 2:14a).
Cast away the...

Recently the Lord spoke to me that I am not to focus on my past failures or mistakes, but instead to expect victories now and in the future. Every human (who lives long enough), except Jesus, has made mistakes and has experienced failure. But let’s put that behind. Working together with the Lord, there is still time for us to go forward and achieve new victories. The devotional I want to share with you today is about our victory in Jesus.
#23: VICTORY OVER A...

Part Two
Dagon was a merman; his top half looked like a man – a warrior dressed for battle, and his bottom half resembled the back half of a fish. The Philistines believed that this god helped them in warfare and in fertility and agriculture (their economy). They called Dagon, “Lord of the gods” and “Lord of the land”.
The Philistines identified with a god of war because they loved to fight. The...

The Philistines placed the ark of the covenant in the temple of Dagon, next to an idol of Dagon. They must have believed that they had not only defeated Israel in battle, but had also defeated their God. They put the ark in their temple as a trophy, thinking they had defeated Jehovah.
But they were in for a surprise. The next morning they found their idol of Dagon knocked over by the strong presence and power of God. So they set it up again, but the next mo...

"Let the Sun of Righteousness Arise with Healing and Restoration"
I have heard that the corona virus evaporates and dies when it is hit with enough direct sunshine. We can pray for an abundance of sunshine across our nation over the next several weeks. Also, if you have faith to do it, you can say, “clouds, be removed at this time and sun, shine brightly across our nation.” We will continue to pray, declare God’s Word, and command as the Holy Spirit...

When I was a kid, I remember going to K-Mart and hearing them announce over the intercom system that a Blue Light Special was going on. I remember seeing a flashing blue light in a certain department, where one or more items would be on sale at drastically low prices for a period of time. You had to be there for the good deals, you couldn’t get a raincheck. I like sales just as well as the next guy, and often find myself on The Clearance Isle in Walmart, ( the modern day blue light s...

“And he stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped” (Numbers 16:48).
This refers to the time when the children of Israel hated their anointed leaders, Moses and Aaron, and repeatedly criticized them and falsely accused them. They rose up against them like a mob and challenged their authority and ability to lead. Then a plague was released upon the people and Moses told Aaron to take a censer with fire and incense in it to ...

“HEROES”
MARCH 27, 2020
Growing up we had a lot of heroes, Evil Kanevil , G.I. Joe, The Six Million Dollar Man, just to mention a few. Our days were spent pretending to be one of these heroes, building ramps where we would jump our bicycles over a few Tonka Trucks or something along those lines. we spent the majority of our time outside. I never remember our Mom telling us we needed to go outside, it was always just the opposite. I remember most ...
